Municipal Office Building

The municipal office building is located in the center of the village and stands on the original site of the former municipal office. In the 1930s, it housed a notary’s office and a registry office. In 1943, the village decided to build a new municipal building on this site. The building acquired its present appearance after reconstruction in 1953. It houses the municipal council. On the front of the building is a commemorative plaque marking the anniversary of the liberation of the village on January 23, 1945. On February 28, 1992, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of his birth, a memorial plaque to violin virtuoso and composer Juraj Kazamek was unveiled on this building.
