Canadian hemlock

It originates from the colder parts of North America and is a broad conical tree with a beautiful branching pattern, fine texture, and dark green color. The first seeds arrived in Europe around 1736 and since then it has been cultivated as a decorative, frost-resistant tree. In our park, mixed forest trees grow in close proximity to the Canadian hemlock, which significantly limits its space.
