Red-leaved beech

It is a cultivar (variety) of European beech, with red leaves after sprouting, which later darken. Red-leaved beeches grow in several places in the park, either individually or in groups. Beautiful specimens grow in the meadow in front of the manor house. We estimate all red-leaved beeches to be between 140 and 150 years old.
