Fire Station

It is located in the center of the village on the site of a former fire station. As early as 1884, Count Andrássy Emmanuel founded a volunteer fire brigade in the village. The founder of the brigade also purchased the first firefighting equipment and gear. In 1932, a new fire station was built, which is interesting in that it stands on reinforced concrete pedestals across the entire width of the stream. It has a meeting room, garages, and space for firefighting equipment. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Volunteer Fire Department in the village, the village also purchased a firefighting flag. On the front of the building, a commemorative plaque was unveiled on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the founding of the Volunteer Fire Department in memory of its distinguished members. In a niche on the other side of the building is a statue of the patron saint of firefighters, St. Florian.
