Františkánsky kláštorný komplex dal postaviť biskup Telegdy na mieste staršej Kaplnky sv. Petra a Pavla v roku 1630. Svedčí o tom aj kamenný reliéf nad vstupom do kláštora. Kláštorný komplex tvorí rímskokatolícky Kostol sv. Petra a Pavla a renesančný kláštor františkánov.

Rímskokatolícky kostol bol postavený ako renesančný, neskôr bol barokovo upravený. Z východnej strany je spojený s kláštorom. Interiér kostola pochádza z 18. storočia. Za najcennejšiu pamiatku kostola je považovaných 33 reliéfov zobrazujúcich život sv. Františka z Assisi. Vyrezávané sú rádovým mníchom Františkom Xaverom Seegenom z Viedne okolo roku 1760. Oltárny obraz pochádza z roku 1935 a znázorňuje patrónov kostola. Na čelnej fasáde sa nachádza reliéf z roku 1663, ktorý znázorňuje sv. Petra a Pavla. Reliéf bol objavený v dlažbe kostola, kde sa dostal počas tureckých vojen.

Na kostol nadväzuje renesančný kláštor s barokovými úpravami. Ide o jednopodlažnú budovu s uzavretým nádvorím. Terajšiu podobu získal v roku 1763, kedy prebiehala rozsiahla rekonštrukcia. Pred vstupom do kláštora je umiestnená malá baroková Kalvária.

Bishop Telegdy had a Franciscan monastery complex, which replaced the earlier Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul, built in 1630. A stone relief above an entrance to the monastery testifies to this fact. The monastery complex consists of the Roman-Catholic Church of Sts. Peter and Paul and the Renaissance Franciscan Monastery.

The Roman-Catholic church was originally built in the Renaissance style, later rebuilt in the Baroque style. It is connected to the monastery from the east side. The church interior dates back to the 18th century. Thirty three reliefs depicting the life of St. Francis of Assisi are considered to be the most precious art works in the church. They were carved by a monk Francis Xaver Seegen from Vienna around 1760. An altar painting dates back to 1935 and depicts the church patrons. At the front facade there is a relief from 1663 depicting Sts. Peter and Paul. The relief was discovered in the church paving where it was placed during the Turkish wars.

The Renaissance monastery with the Baroque style modifications adjoins the church. It is a one-storey building with an enclosed yard. The present appearance dates back to 1763 when extensive rebuilding took place. A small Baroque Stations of the Cross can be found in front of the monastery entrance gate.
